In stent production, the post-processing time after laser cutting is significantly reduced if the laser cut edges are clean. This is achieved if the servo drive keeps to the target path as precisely as possible without path deviations on the one hand, and cleanly compensates for any malfunctions on the other. To control the laser, Triamec Servo Drives can output a PWM signal proportional to the path speed.
